Health Psychology Services in Greenwich, Darien, Westport, Westchester, and Surrounding Areas in Connecticut and New York

Research has shown that our psychological health can have a strong impact on our physical health and well being, and vice versa. I have extensive training in health psychology and a strong background on the intersection of physical and mental health, including a Health Psychology internship at the Connecticut VA.

I work with the following (click on each diagnosis for more information):

Depending on the diagnosis, I incorporate cognitive behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, and mindfulness-based therapies in my treatment approach. I will teach you effective strategies for living with and managing your condition. I will work with you to set clear lifestyle goals to enhance your quality of life and monitor these behaviors. I will also help you reframe unhelpful thought patterns. I will also explore what brings your life value and meaning and how you can live a valued and meaningful life despite your medical condition. For those struggling with terminal illness, cancer, and other difficult diagnoses, I will work with you to process your emotions, discuss fears, work through anxiety, help you make sense of your life, and find sources of support.
